The range of expertise at Thayer includes licensed professional engineers, master electricians, plumbers and technicians, sheet metal fabricators, and licensed journeyman installers and technicians. We even have a geologist on staff for our geothermal projects. Thayer Corporation provides solutions for traditional HVAC, plumbing and refrigeration systems as well as the "newer" sustainable technologies such as biomass, thermal solar and geothermal. Our long list of successful projects stretches from wood pellet boilers for schools in western Maine to ventilation systems for oil rig drilling in the Gulf of Mexico. Thayer has installed heat recovery ventilators in residences, geothermal heating systems in group homes and the complete mechanical systems for high rise office buildings. Large or small, Thayer designs, builds and maintains proven solutions, guaranteeing both the work and performance of each and every system.


Thayer Corporation is composed of four interconnected divisions:


The LINC SERVICE® Division – Its primary business objective is to provide HVAC maintenance and support services. This division is on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.


The Engineered Installation Group – It provides HVAC design/build and energy services for commercial and industrial clients. It is also responsible for systems controls and integration.
 

The Residential Comfort Group – This group provides solutions unique to residential and smaller commercial customers.


Consulting – It provides Indoor Air Quality consulting services throughout the United States.


Although each division has different business goals and objectives, each division supports one another ensuring Thayer Corporation always works as one team. A testament to the success of the team approach is Thayer Corporation being named the 2003 Commercial Contractor of the Year by Contracting Business Magazine.
